What we collect, what we do with it, and who can see it. Written to be read, not to be skipped.

Effective 16 September 2026 · Last updated 16 September 2026

The short version

We do not sell your personal information. We do not rent it, trade it, or hand it to data brokers. We make our money from clubs and from clearly-labelled sponsor space, never from your data.

No mobile information will be sold or shared with third parties for promotional or marketing purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

1. Who we are

VYBE.FIT is a live-class streaming service operated by WORKSHARE LLC ("VYBE.FIT", "we", "us"). It lets a fitness club broadcast its own classes, taught by its own instructors, to its own members, and keeps those classes as replays in the club's library.

This policy covers the VYBE.FIT website at vybe.fit, the member site at app.vybe.fit, each club's own address (for example yourclub.vybe.fit), and the VYBE.FIT Broadcast apps for Android and Windows.

You can reach us about anything in this policy at hello@vybe.fit.

2. What we collect

Your account. Your name, your email address, a password (stored only as a one-way hash, never as text we can read), and your mobile number if you choose to give us one.

Your membership. Which club or clubs you belong to, your role there (member, instructor, club admin), and whether your remote-class access is currently switched on. Your club sets this, not us.

What you watch and save. Which classes you joined live, which replays you played, and the likes, tags and collections you build. Likes and collections are private to you.

What you broadcast. If you teach, the video and audio of the class you go live with, plus the make and model of the device broadcasting it and the quality it managed to send.

Payments. If you buy a membership or a class, the payment itself is handled by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number. We keep a record of what you bought, when, for how much, and whether it succeeded.

What you send us. Club applications, support messages and anything else you write to us, kept with your reply.

Technical records. Sign-in events, IP address, browser or app version, and which club address you arrived at — the ordinary records that keep an account secure and let us find a fault.

3. Mobile information and text messages

If you give us a mobile number, we use it for two things only: to confirm it is yours, and to send you the reminders and account messages you asked for — for example a text a few minutes before a class you booked starts.

No mobile information will be sold or shared with third parties for promotional or marketing purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent is never shared with anyone.

The only parties that ever touch your number are the messaging carrier that delivers the message on our behalf and your own club, and they may use it only to deliver that message. They may not market to you and they may not pass it on.

Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies. Reply STOP to any message to stop them, or HELP for help. You can also switch text reminders off in your account at any time. Stopping texts does not close your account or stop your classes.

4. What we use it for

  • Running the service: signing you in, showing you your club's timetable, letting you into a live class, keeping your place in a replay.
  • Telling you what you asked to be told: a class starting, a class cancelled, a replay ready, something about your account.
  • Taking payment and preventing fraud.
  • Showing your club how its own classes are doing — how many people watched, how long they stayed.
  • Answering you when you write to us.
  • Making the product better, using totals and averages rather than individuals wherever that will do.
  • Meeting a legal obligation, or protecting someone's safety.

5. Who sees what

You see everything in your own account.

Your club sees that you are a member, whether your remote access is on, and which of its classes you attended. It does not see anything you do at another club.

Your instructor sees how many people are watching a class. A live class is one-way: your camera and microphone are never switched on by a class, and nobody in the class can see or hear you.

Other members see nothing about you. There is no follower list, no public profile, no feed. Your likes and collections are yours alone.

We look at an individual account only when you ask us to, to investigate abuse or a security incident, or when the law requires it.

Advertisers and data brokers see nothing. Sponsors buy a labelled space on a page; they are never given, and never get, a list of who saw it.

6. Live classes and recordings

A class is streamed from the club's own studio, through our own media servers, to your screen. We do not hand your class to YouTube, Facebook, or any other video platform — the video runs on servers we operate.

Classes are recorded so the club can offer them as replays. The recording is the club's, held in the club's library, and shown to the people the club allows. If you are a member watching at home, you are not in the recording: only the studio is.

If you are an instructor, your class recordings carry your name and likeness, and your club decides how long they stay in its library. Ask your club to take one down and we will act on the club's instruction.

7. Sponsors and advertising

Some pages carry sponsor space, always marked as such. We sell the space, not you. A sponsor is told how many times its own panel was shown. It is not told who saw it, and it gets no list, no profile and no identifier for anyone. We do not run third-party ad networks or tracking pixels for advertisers.

8. The public club directory

Our directory lists class venues worldwide, built from open map data such as OpenStreetMap. A listing is not an endorsement and does not mean the venue uses VYBE.FIT. It contains business details — name, address, opening hours, a public phone number or website — and not personal accounts. If a listing is yours and you want it corrected or removed, write to hello@vybe.fit and we will deal with it.

9. The companies we rely on

We keep this list short on purpose.

  • Stripe — payments.
  • Postmark — the emails the service sends you.
  • Our messaging carrier — delivery of the text messages you opted into, and nothing else.
  • Our hosting and content delivery providers — the servers the site, the app and the video run on.

Each is given the least it needs to do its job, and each is barred from using it for its own purposes. We have no arrangement with any advertising network, data broker or list vendor.

10. Cookies

We set a cookie to keep you signed in and a small number of cookies to remember your preferences and keep forms secure. We do not use advertising cookies and we do not let third parties track you across other sites from ours.

11. How long we keep it

  • Your account: while it is open, and 30 days after you close it.
  • Watch history, likes and collections: until you delete them or close your account.
  • Class recordings: for as long as the club keeps them in its library.
  • Payment records: seven years, because tax law requires it.
  • Security and sign-in logs: 12 months.

12. Your choices and your rights

You can see and change your own details in your account at any time. Write to hello@vybe.fit and you can ask us to send you a copy of your data, correct something that is wrong, stop a particular use, or delete your account and everything personal in it. We answer within 30 days.

You can stop marketing email with the unsubscribe link in any such email, and stop text messages by replying STOP. Neither affects the messages we must send to run your account, such as a receipt or a password reset.

Depending on where you live you may have further rights — to object, to restrict, to portability, or to complain to your data protection authority. We honour those requests wherever we can, whoever you are and wherever you live.

13. Children

VYBE.FIT is not aimed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information. Where a club offers a junior class, the account belongs to the parent or guardian. If you believe a child has an account here, write to us and we will remove it.

14. Security

Everything travels over an encrypted connection. Passwords are stored as one-way hashes. Sign-in tokens are stored hashed, so a copy of our database cannot be used to sign in as you. Backups are encrypted. We follow sensible practice, and no one can promise that any system is beyond attack.

15. Where your information lives

Our servers are in the United States and the European Union. If you are somewhere else, using VYBE.FIT means your information is handled in those places, under the protections set out here.

16. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy in a way that matters, we will say so on this page and, for a material change, tell you by email or in the app before it takes effect. The date at the top always tells you which version you are reading.
